SpaceMinder is a storage analyzer for Android, published at space-minder.com. This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: everything stays on your device.
To draw a map of your storage, SpaceMinder reads the names, sizes and modification dates of files and folders on the shared storage of your device (and SD cards, if present). On Android 11 and later this requires the “All files access” permission, which you grant in the system settings.
The app does not open or read the contents of your files. It does not access contacts, location, camera, microphone or any other personal data.
None. SpaceMinder has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere. The app works fully offline.
SpaceMinder can open, share or delete a file when you choose to. Deleting a file or folder always shows a confirmation dialog first and cannot be undone. Sharing hands the file to the app you pick; what that app does with it is covered by its own policy.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
